Everything you might be wondering.
And if we haven't answered it here, we're only a message away.
What if my city hasn't launched yet?
You still belong today. Choose your Home Community even if it's still forming, and Regional Access welcomes you into nearby communities right away, while you help build the future of your own. Belonging doesn't have to wait.
How much does membership cost?
One simple membership: $24 per month, or $240 per year. There are no tiers and no upgrades. Every member belongs equally. Your membership helps support the ecosystem, the Gatherings, the technology, and the everyday care, that makes belonging possible, and strengthens the experience for every member.
What is Founding Membership?
Every Home Community welcomes 250 Founding Members: the women who help establish Society Circle there. Each receives a permanent Founder Number within her community (Raleigh Founder #001 through #250), recognition in the Society Circle Founding Book, an invitation to the Founding Gathering before public launch and to the annual Founders Celebration, early access to selected features, a voice during the founding year, and membership pricing locked in for life. When a community's 250 are welcomed, its Founding Membership closes forever.
Do Founding Members join for free?
No. Founding Members pay the standard Society Circle membership, the same as everyone else. Their distinction is legacy, not discount: permanent recognition, a Founder Number, influence during the founding year, and pricing protected for life. Founding Membership is an invitation to help build an institution, never a promotion.
What are Circles?
Circles are small, recurring communities built around shared interests and seasons of life: a morning walk club, a book club, a new-moms group. They're where familiar faces slowly become friends.
What are Gatherings?
Gatherings are real, in-person moments: a shared meal, a walk, a celebration. Some are the weekly rhythm of your community, some are annual traditions, and some are once-in-a-while experiences.
Can I visit nearby communities?
Yes. Through Regional Access, you can join Gatherings and build friendships in neighboring communities from your very first day, especially helpful while your own Home Community is forming.
Who can become a Host?
Hosts are the people who naturally bring others together, who notice the person standing alone and remember names. Hosting is an act of hospitality, not event planning. Community Hosts serve as volunteer leaders and receive complimentary membership while they serve, part of how Society Circle honors its leadership. If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
How do Thoughtful Introductions work?
Rather than leaving connection to chance, Society Circle thoughtfully introduces you to members you're likely to genuinely click with, based on shared interests, life stage, and the Circles you join. A person always makes the introduction feel human.
Is Society Circle another social network?
No. Society Circle isn't designed to keep you scrolling. It's designed to help you build meaningful relationships in your city. The app simply helps you discover Gatherings, stay connected with your Circles, and make thoughtful introductions, so more of life happens in person.
How is Society Circle different?
We're building the social infrastructure for real life, a lasting institution rather than a feed. Everything we make is meant to move you off the screen and toward the people in your own city. Success, for us, is a friendship that continues long after the phone is put away.
There's always room for one more.
Choose your Home Community and become part of Society Circle today.
