Building the social infrastructure for real life

Build a life you don't have to build alone.

Society Circle connects you with extraordinary people, meaningful Gatherings, and trusted communities so you can build lasting relationships in the real world.

A woman standing alone at a window at night, looking out over a distant city

We've never been more connected. And never felt more alone.

A full calendar. A phone full of contacts. Hundreds of followers. And still, no one to grab coffee with on a Wednesday afternoon. Loneliness rarely announces itself, sometimes it just looks like a busy life.

Connection is not the same as belonging.

What is Society Circle?

Society Circle is a membership community that helps you build real, lasting friendships in the place you already live. Through Circles, Gatherings, and thoughtful introductions, we turn familiar faces into the people who know your name, celebrate your milestones, and show up when life gets hard. We're not another social network. We're building a world where no one has to build a life alone.

What we believe

Three beliefs guide everything we build.

01

The world happens in person.

Life's greatest moments aren't measured in notifications. They're measured by the people who show up.

02

No one should have to build a life alone.

Every season deserves a Circle: a new city, a new baby, a fresh start, a new chapter.

03

Technology should strengthen relationships.

At its best, technology disappears, quietly removing the friction that keeps people apart.

How it works

Belonging, designed with care.

Four gentle steps from your first hello to friendships that grow with every season.

Step 1

Choose your Home Community

Tell us where you want to belong. If it's active, you're welcomed right away. If it's still forming, Regional Access connects you with nearby communities today.

Step 2

Join the Circles you love

Circles are small, recurring communities built around shared interests and seasons of life, from morning walks to book clubs to new-mom mornings.

Step 3

Come to Gatherings

Real, in-person moments: a shared meal, a walk, a celebration. The rhythm of showing up is where familiar faces become friends.

Step 4

Be thoughtfully introduced

We introduce you to people you'll genuinely click with. Because every extraordinary relationship begins with an ordinary introduction.

Circles

Small communities, built around real life.

Circles are recurring groups organized around shared interests and seasons of life. Every community begins with the same eight foundations.

Wellness Circle
Social Circle
Family Circle
Learning Circle
Creative Circle
Active Circle
Giving Back Circle
Faith Circle

Gatherings

Where strangers become friends.

No friendship begins inside an algorithm. Gatherings create the places where relationships can actually grow: a shared meal, a morning walk, a celebration.

Community Gatherings

The gentle, recurring rhythm of community life: coffees, walks, dinners, and book clubs you can count on.

Signature Gatherings

The traditions that mark the year: a spring welcome, a harvest dinner, a holiday celebration, shared across every community.

Premium Experiences

Extraordinary moments led by members who share their gifts: a chef's table, a weekend retreat, a creative workshop.

Thoughtful Introductions

Every extraordinary relationship begins with an ordinary introduction.

Rather than leaving connection to chance, we thoughtfully introduce you to members you're likely to genuinely click with, people who share your interests, your season of life, and your Circles. Because belonging should never be left to luck.

Your world, as it changes

Belonging that keeps up with your life.

Thoughtful Introductions feel personal because you decide what to share. Tell us the season you're in, what you're navigating, what you're looking for, and what you can offer — then update it any time, because life moves.

The season you're in

New to the city · a new baby · a fresh start

What you're navigating

A career change, a big move, a new chapter

Looking for guidance in

A field or craft you'd love a mentor in

Happy to help with

Something you could offer someone else

Every detail is yours alone to share — keep it private, share it only with your Hosts, or let it help us introduce you. It is never a public profile, and you can change it whenever life does.

Your Home Community

Belonging doesn't have to wait.

Choose the community you want to belong to, even if it hasn't launched yet.

If your Home Community is already active, you're welcomed immediately. If it hasn't launched yet, you still become part of Society Circle today through Regional Access, while helping build the future of your own community.

A note from our founder

I refused to believe that's just how it had to feel.

When I moved to a new city, I had a full calendar and an empty week. I knew hundreds of people and had no one to call on a Tuesday. Society Circle is the answer I wished someone had built for me.

We're not building an app to keep you on your phone. We're building the tables, the walks, and the introductions that get you off it, and into a life full of people who know your name.

Technology, in its proper place

Designed to strengthen relationships, not replace them.

The Society Circle app does something quiet and rare: it works to get you off of it. It helps you discover Gatherings, stay close to your Circles, and receive thoughtful introductions to people you'll genuinely click with, then steps out of the way so the real moment can happen.

A thoughtful introduction

Meet Maya

You both love early mornings, long books, and a good porch conversation.

Say hello

The app exists to create more life away from the screen, not more time on it.

The world happens in person. Society Circle helps you make the most of it.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What if my city hasn't launched yet?

You still belong today. Choose your Home Community even if it's still forming, and Regional Access welcomes you into nearby communities right away, while you help build the future of your own. Belonging doesn't have to wait.

How much does membership cost?

One simple membership: $24 per month, or $240 per year. There are no tiers and no upgrades. Every member belongs equally. Your membership helps support the ecosystem, the Gatherings, the technology, and the everyday care, that makes belonging possible, and strengthens the experience for every member.

What is Founding Membership?

Every Home Community welcomes 250 Founding Members: the women who help establish Society Circle there. Each receives a permanent Founder Number within her community (Raleigh Founder #001 through #250), recognition in the Society Circle Founding Book, an invitation to the Founding Gathering before public launch and to the annual Founders Celebration, early access to selected features, a voice during the founding year, and membership pricing locked in for life. When a community's 250 are welcomed, its Founding Membership closes forever.

Do Founding Members join for free?

No. Founding Members pay the standard Society Circle membership, the same as everyone else. Their distinction is legacy, not discount: permanent recognition, a Founder Number, influence during the founding year, and pricing protected for life. Founding Membership is an invitation to help build an institution, never a promotion.

What are Circles?

Circles are small, recurring communities built around shared interests and seasons of life: a morning walk club, a book club, a new-moms group. They're where familiar faces slowly become friends.
